Hard Fought Road Win For Algoma


The Algoma boys won at Gibraltar Tuesday night, 46-39. The Wolves (4-3 Packerland / 7-5 Overall) took a 19-18 lead with two minutes remaining in the opening half. Up 22-18 at the break, Algoma scored the first five points of the second half and then Chase Romdenne and Parker Lischka hit big shots to stop a run by Gibraltar. Romdenne scored 19 points to lead Algoma and Lischka added 15. Algoma ends a two game losing streak and beats Gibraltar for the first time in the last twelve meetings between the two. Braden Sitte scored 19 points to lead the Vikings (1-6 / 3-9). Liam Lindenberg finished with 12 points.
