Dawn Peterson has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke.

She succeeds Mike Keane, who served as interim CEO following the departure of Sean Robbins earlier this year.

Peterson has more than 20 years of senior-level experience in corporate tax, finance, risk management, human resources and technology oversight. A certified public accountant, she has held leadership roles with Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Robert W. Baird, and Alverno College. She has a master of science degree in taxation and a bachelor of business administration in accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

Since early 2025, Peterson served as director of finance and administration for Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke. In that role she managed all facets of finance and operations.
