๐Ÿ”’ New president and CEO named for Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke

Dawn Peterson

Dawn Peterson has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke.

She succeeds Mike Keane, who served as interim CEO following the departure of Sean Robbins earlier this year.

โ€œWe are excited to welcome Dawn as our next president and CEO,โ€ said Keane. โ€œHer track record of driving operational excellence, combined with her collaborative leadership style, positions us well as we continue to expand and elevate our business and fulfill our vision of being Wisconsinโ€™s most successful and trusted commercial real estate company.โ€

Peterson has more than 20 years of senior-level experience in corporate tax, finance, risk management, human resources and technology oversight. A certified public accountant, she has held leadership roles with Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Robert W. Baird, and Alverno College. She has a master of science degree in taxation and a bachelor of business administration in accounting degree from the University of Wisconsinโ€“Milwaukee.

Since early 2025, Peterson served as director of finance and administration for Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke. In that role she managed all facets of finance and operations.

โ€œAs we enter this dynamic phase in the commercial real-estate sector, Iโ€™m honored to lead Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke at a time of great opportunity,โ€ said Peterson. โ€œI enjoy working alongside our talented team and am excited to leverage our strengths in client service and market insight to further enhance our presence and impact.โ€
