The individuals BizTimes Milwaukee identified as the 275 most influential business leaders in the state have collectively earned at least 480 higher education degrees from 180 schools. The data comes from information supplied by those included in Wisconsin 275 and research of publicly available information.
More than 56% of those degrees came from colleges and universities outside the state. The University of Wisconsin-Madison led the way among in-state schools followed by Marquette University and then UW-Milwaukee. Predictably, bachelor’s degrees make up the majority of those granted, but there are more than 90 master’s degrees, another 53 MBAs and 46 law degrees among this year’s honorees.
