Delavan-based MicroPrecision names new CEO

Karley Long

Delavan-based manufacturer MicroPrecision LLC, a producer of custom turned and milled products, announced that Karley Long will succeed Mark Sarder as chief executive officer, effective June 15.

Long joined the company in 2021 and has been the company’s chief financial officer since May of 2025. Prior to that she served as director of finance, plant controller and senior accounting analyst.

Before that she was an analyst for Kerry in Beloit.

“Karley has demonstrated the character, financial acumen, and leadership qualities that MicroPrecision needs to continue building the world’s best company,” said Sarder, who will serve as advisor through the end of 2026 and continue as a member of the board of directors. “I am confident in her ability to lead this organization and will remain available to support her and the team during the transition.”

“I am energized to step into this role and accelerate our momentum of building MicroPrecision as a premier partner in precision machining,” said Long. “It is a privilege to lead a remarkable team — one that strives for excellence, anticipates our customers’ needs, and creates meaningful opportunities for our employees.”
