Dennis Martin, the chief financial officer of West Allis-based nonprofit Beyond Vision, has died at the age of 68.
Beyond Vision was founded in 1903 to provide employment opportunities for people who are legally blind. The organization provides fulfillment, assembly, packaging and customer care services.
Martin worked for Beyond Vision for more than nine years. Prior to that he was CFO for the Primex Family of Companies in Lake Geneva.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Dennis Martin,” Beyond Vision said in a statement. “Dennis was a rare combination, a gifted financial mind and an even more generous heart. He poured himself into Beyond Vision, into the people we serve, and into our community, always guided by his faith, his love for his family, and his deep belief in our Mission of creating meaningful employment for people who are blind.
A visitation in memory of Martin will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 211 Main St., Mukwonago, from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.
