Robotic systems integrator Acieta announced Wednesday plans to shift production activities from its City of Pewaukee headquarters, located at N25 W23790 Commerce Circle, to its five other North American locations.

The shift, which impacts an undisclosed number of jobs at its Pewaukee facility, is part of the company’s focus on “scaling operations, improving efficiency, and positioning its facilities to support continued growth across North America,” a press release from the company says.

The company offered relocation and remote opportunities to affected employees, with a majority transitioning into roles across other Acieta locations, the release says.

Acieta’s Pewaukee facility will remain a part of its network, though its production functions will be relocated to its facilities in Council Bluffs, Iowa; Livonia, Michigan; Shelbyville and Tipton, Indiana; and Saltillo, Mexico.

Acieta did not respond to inquires about how many jobs are impacted at the Pewaukee facility or how many people work at the facility currently. The company had 154 active participants in its retirement plan as of the end of 2025, according to Department of Labor records. PitchBook, a financial data and research platform, estimates the company has 320 total employees across all of its locations.

“We’re seeing strong momentum across the business,” said Corwin Carson, CEO of Acieta, in the press release. “As our customers take on larger and more complex automation initiatives, we’ve aligned our operations across North America to deliver the scale and consistency required to support them. We’ve also expanded our capabilities and diversified our customer base to support a broader range of programs. That approach has driven 25% year-over-year bookings growth over the past two years, a fourfold increase in average project size, and a significant expansion of our backlog – positioning Acieta to continue growing even as the industry faces headwinds.”

No layoff notices for Acieta have been filed with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

The company also announced plans to expand its standardized production and training capabilities to multiple locations in its portfolio.

The news comes two months after the company announced the appointment of Carson as its next CEO. Carson was appointed one year after the appointment of the company’s previous CEO Craig Ulrich, who remains with the company as chairman of the board.

No representatives from Acieta nor Los Angeles-based private investment firm Angeles Equity Partners, Acieta’s parent company, responded to requests for comment.
