Celebrating 10 years as a 100% Employee Owned Company

Celebrating 41 years in business

This year marks a defining milestone for MyPath: 10 years as 100% employee-owned.

MyPath is an organization that proudly includes eight companies that serve over 2,000 individuals from around the country, in more than 150 program locations throughout Wisconsin and Indiana, across 41 communities.

A decade ago, MyPath made the bold and values-driven-decision to place ownership in the hands of its people. It was more than a structural shift. It was a belief that those delivering care, leading teams, and strengthening communities should also share in the value they help create and were the best stewards to carry the mission to transform lives forward.

Ten years later, that belief has reshaped the organization.

Nearly 2,000 employee-owners now hold a direct stake in MyPath’s future. Ownership has influenced how leaders lead and how teams perform. It has deepened accountability, strengthened financial discipline, and aligned individual purpose with collective success. When employees are owners, every decision carries greater weight, and every success is shared.

MyPath is the first Majority Women Employee-Owned organization as recognized by the National Center for Employee Ownership. Women across the company are not only leading at every level, but they are also building equity and long-term financial security through ownership. From frontline roles to executive leadership, ownership and representation move together, reinforcing a culture grounded in opportunity and belonging.

Over the past decade, employee ownership has strengthened MyPath’s mission as a human services provider. Through growth, change, and challenge, employee-owners have remained the heart of the organization. Shared ownership has built resilience, encouraged innovation, and reinforced a long-term view of success.

Ten years in, employee ownership is not simply a business model. It is part of the organization’s identity and its promise for the future. When MyPath succeeds, nearly 2,000 owners succeed with it along with the over 2,000 clients, students, and families they support.

The focus has remained clear: invest in people. As the company grows stronger, so do the employee-owners who power it and the communities they serve.
