Eagle Park acquires RTD maker Soulboxer Cocktail Co.

Muskego-based Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling has acquired Soulboxer Cocktail Co., a Milwaukee-based maker of ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails.

The acquisition expands Eagle Park’s portfolio of products to include a wider range of RTD options in addition to its beer, spirits and THC beverages, according to a press release.

Following the acquisition, Soulboxer will introduce three new canned cocktails to include an RTD Brandy Old Fashioned, Bourbon Old Fashioned and Lakehouse Lemonade made with Milwaukee-based Rishi Tea & Botanicals’ Hibiscus Berry tea. Its new products will be available in 12-ounce four packs beginning on April 2. All will be available for statewide shipping on that date, the release said.

Later this year, Eagle Park plans to expand the Soulboxer line to include additional alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and THC-infused canned cocktails. Eagle Park will continue to manufacture Soulboxer’s existing line of RTD and bottled cocktails.

“SoulBoxer has built an incredible reputation for quality and authenticity,” said Max Borgardt, co-founder of Eagle Park. “We see huge potential to bring that same craftsmanship into new formats and categories including canned cocktails, non-alcoholic canned cocktails, and THC-infused offerings, while staying true to what makes SoulBoxer special.”

Soulboxer, founded in 2015, was already a partner of Eagle Park’s co-packing division, producing and packaging Soulboxer’s cocktails at the company’s Muskego facility. Co-packing has been one of Eagle Park’s fastest-growing divisions since 2024 following the 2023 expansion of its Muskego facility, which doubled its local footprint.

The expansion of its Muskego facility is merely one piece of the company’s greater growth story, which culminated with the company’s acquisition of Milwaukee Brewing Company’s intellectual property, recipes and branding in fall of 2022. In recognition of its year of growth, Eagle Park was recognized as BizTimes Milwaukee’s small business of the year in 2022.

The acquisition of Soulboxer marks the company’s second following the deal with Milwaukee Brewing Company. Eagle Park has locations in Muskego and Milwaukee, and distributes to five states nationwide.
