Blake Consdorf and Katie Miner
Waukesha-based holding company OwnersEdge announced new presidents for two of its holding companies, BAYCOM and OComp Technologies.
Katie Miner has been named the president of BAYCOM, a provider of communication and security solutions, and Blake Consdorf has been named the president of OComp Technologies, a provider of robotic automation and material handling solutions.
Miner was previously president of QComp and, prior to that, supported BAYCOM for several years following its acquisition by OwnersEdge.
“Katie is a proven leader who knows BAYCOM inside and out,” said Rob Dillon, CEO of OwnersEdge. “She has a unique ability to authentically connect with people while driving accountability at every level of an organization. As BAYCOM continues to grow, it needs a leader who can drive operational efficiency while preserving the differentiated sales and service experience customers have come to expect. Katie is unequivocally that leader.”
During the past five years, BAYCOM has added nearly 3,000 new customers, including schools, health care institutions, manufacturers, construction companies, and other businesses, according to OwnersEdge.
“I’m honored to step into this role at BAYCOM,” said Miner. “This team does critical work, and every interaction matters. My focus is on supporting our people and ensuring we continue to show up for our customers with the reliability and responsiveness they expect.”
Consdorf served on QComp’s advisory board for two years. He was previously CEO of InCompass, based in Maple Grove, Minn., and has three decades of experience across automation, robotics, engineering, operations, and sales.
“Blake is a disciplined operator with deep automation experience and the kind of principled leadership that builds strong teams,” said Dillon. “He’s a great fit for QComp’s culture, and he understands the responsibility that comes with being employee-owned. With Blake leading QComp, we will continue to grow by staying customer-focused and committed to developing our people. His appointment underscores our commitment to placing proven leaders in every business across the OwnersEdge portfolio.”
“What drew me to this role were the people, the culture, and the values,” said Consdorf. “There is something very special about QComp and OwnersEdge. Being part of a 100% employee-owned company where we’re truly ‘in this together’ creates a deeper level of commitment and a longer-term mindset. You feel that responsibility every day.”
OwnersEdge, a 100% employee-owned ESOP holding company, acquired BAYCOM in 2016 and QComp in 2018. BAYCOM and QComp are both 100% employee-owned ESOP companies within the five-company OwnersEdge portfolio.
