The Shorewood apartment building sold recently by Milwaukee-based real estate development firm Three Leaf Partners for $11.75 million was purchased by an affiliate of Ante Inc., the parent company for the business portfolio of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s family, according to state records.

Three Leaf was co-founded by former Milwaukee Bucks player Pat Connaughton, a teammate of Antetokounmpo until Connaughton was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in July.

The Shorewood building, located at 2420 E. Capitol Drive, is called The Atwater. It is a four-story, 39-unit apartment building built by Three Leaf in 2023.

State records listed the buyer of the building as New York-based Original Atwater LLC. The agent listed for Original Atwater is Ante Inc., c/o New York law firm Pardalis & Nohavicka LLP. Antetokounmpo has filed dozens of intellectual property infringement lawsuits with the help of attorney Anastasi Pardalis of Pardalis & Nohavicka, accusing numerous individuals with illegally selling products using the “Greek Freak” nickname that Antetokounmpo registered as a trademark in 2018.

The Antetokounmpo family announced the formulation of Ante, Inc. in 2023. The family’s global portfolio of businesses includes an investment in the Milwaukee Brewers and in the Nashville SC Major League Soccer team, a Canadian candy company and a Greek winery.
