๐Ÿ”’ Kohler Co. unveils plans for new golf course, racquet sports complex, hotel renovation

The hospitality division of Kohler Company on Monday announced three new projects that continue a โ€œmulti-year journey in the evolution of the resortโ€ in the Village of Kohler in Sheboygan County.

Kohler officially unveiled the name of a new 14-hole golf course called Purebred Farm. News of the golf course complex was first reported earlier this year.

The course will be located just west of Blackwolf Run. The company plans to begin construction this fall with a fall 2027 targeted opening date.

The new course will be a walking-only, multi-loop golf course (which allows the same holes to be played in two or more different directions or routings), with par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes.

Kohler has also broken ground on a new racquet sports facility, called The Serve.

The facility will feature six indoor pickleball courts, two heated outdoor platform tennis courts, and an elevated social lounge. The new venue will host tournaments, lessons, and recreational play for guests of all ages and skill levels. Once open, The Serve will create a year-round hub where the community can enjoy racquet sports.

Finally, Kohler said Monday that The Carriage House, part of The American Club Resort Hotel, will be renovated.

The Carriage House will close on Nov. 3, 2025. Renovations to 55 guestrooms, corridors, and the lobby are scheduled, with a planned reopening on May 1, 2026.

The rooms will feature fully updated bathrooms, custom furnishings, curated artwork, and a brighter, contemporary color palette. Guests can continue to visit Kohler Waters Spa while the renovation is underway.

“This next chapter in Kohler, Wisconsin’s evolution reflects our ongoing commitment to creating dynamic, memorable experiences for our guests,” said Stephen Beaumont, president, hospitality, at Kohler Co.. “With the construction of Purebred Farm Golf Course and The Serve, and the renovation of The Carriage House, we’re introducing spaces for guests and local residents that integrate wellness, community, and connection, while honoring our resort’s rich legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and hospitality.”
