Brown Deer-based water meter manufacturer and water management solutions company Badger Meter announced several executive leadership changes effective Jan. 1, 2026.
“Over the past five years, we have more than doubled our revenues and profits, broadened our product portfolio and scaled our organization,” said Badger Meter chief executive officer Ken Bockhorst. “As part of a larger company, these leadership changes best position us for continued innovation, differentiated execution and robust growth, all while providing a best-in-class customer experience.”
The company’s leadership changes will include:

Robert Wrocklage, who has served as chief financial officer for seven years will be promoted to executive vice president – North America municipal utility, overseeing applicable sales, marketing, operations and engineering resources.
Daniel Weltzien will be promoted to vice president – chief financial officer and treasurer, after working for seven years as vice president – controller. He will oversee the company’s financial strategy and management, accounting, external reporting, investor relations and treasury functions.

“Bob has repeatedly demonstrated a natural talent for integrating both financial and operational leadership,” Bockhorst said. “His clarity of vision, financial discipline, growth enablement, and operational acumen will greatly benefit the organization. Additionally, Dan has been a key part of our success spanning financial discipline, positive operating results, and accelerating the transformation of Badger Meter into a global leader of smart water management solutions. Bob, Dan and I have more than 15 years of shared professional history, both at Badger Meter and elsewhere, and I look forward to working with both of them in their expanded capacities.”
Other Badger Meter leadership changes will include:
Kimberly Stoll will be promoted to vice president – customer support and general manager – SmartCover. Acquired by Badger Meter in January, SmartCover provides sensors, software and related services to monitor sewer levels. Stoll joined Badger Meter in 2008.
Matthew Stuyvenberg will be promoted to executive vice president – SaaS, global commercial and international utility. His responsibilities will include overseeing the applicable sales, marketing, operations, product and software engineering and international support functions.
Christina Tarantino will succeed Weltzien as vice president – controller. She has been with Badger Meter for the past four years and has 17 years of financial reporting and accounting experience.
Corey Williams will transition from general manager of SmartCover to senior director – business development, and will lead the company’s business development and M&A activities.
“These executive leadership changes have been achieved solely through internal promotions and resources, which is a testament to our annual talent management and succession planning processes,” Bockhorst said. “I am confident that this enhanced leadership structure will position the company for the future and build upon our long track record of success.”
In 2024, Badger Meter had sales of $826.6 million, a record for the company, up 18% from $703.6 million in 2023.
