George Oliver
George Oliver, who served as chief executive officer of Johnson Controls from 2017 until March of this year, has sold his condominium at the University Club Tower in downtown Milwaukee to Harris Turer, the owner and CEO of the Milwaukee Admirals, for $2.2 million, according to state records.
The condo has two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, according to city records. It has an assessed value of $2,064,900.
Constructed in 2007, the 37-story University Club Tower has 53 units.

Prior to becoming CEO of Johnson Controls, Oliver was president and chief operating officer, with responsibility for leading the integration of Johnson Controls and Tyco following their $16.5 billion merger in 2016. Before that, Oliver was CEO of Tyco and a member of its board of directors. He joined Tyco in 2006 as president of Tyco Safety Products.
After stepping down as CEO in March, Oliver served as non-executive chairman of the Johnson Controls board until July 31. He will remain as an advisor to the company until Dec. 31, to provide ongoing support and ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Ireland-based Johnson Controls has its operational headquarters in Glendale.
Turer helped lead a group of Milwaukee area businessmen in the purchase of the Milwaukee Admirals in April of 2005 from the estate of the late Jane Bradley Pettit. Turer has also been a minority owner of the Milwaukee Brewers since late 1996.
