The Miss Door County Scholarship Organization crowned two Sevastopol students as their new winners Saturday night at the 27th annual competition at Southern Door Community Auditorium. Kylee Duessler was crowned Miss Door County and will be advancing to the Miss Wisconsin Pageant this June.  Kylee is a senior at Sevastopol High School and next year, she plans to attend UW-Milwaukee and major in Biomedical Engineering.  For her talent, she played “Andante et Allegro” on the trumpet.  Her community service initiative that she will promote throughout the year is called, “Trust Your Training; Anxiety Awareness in Athletics”.  Ms. Duessler also received $2,675 in scholarships.

Meanwhile, Emily Bley was crowned Miss Door County Outstanding Teen 2024 and will be advancing to the Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen Pageant.  Emily is a senior at Sevastopol High School and next year, she plans to attend NWTC to study nursing.  For her talent, Emily sang “Back to December” by Taylor Swift.  Her community service initiative that she will promote throughout the year is called, “Nutrition Before Competition”.  Ms. Bley also received $1,850 in scholarships.

The Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen Pageants will be held June 17 – 22 in Oshkosh.
