Sister Bay shut out Maplewood on Sunday 3-0. The Bays broke up a scoreless tie with a run in the 7th, then Griffen Cole hit a 2-run homerun in the ninth. Tom Sawyer had a pair of hits for the Bays, & Sam Forkert tossed a complete game shutout. Adam Gutschow had two of the Mets four hits, Jeremiah Jahnke struck out 8 in the loss.
Kolberg beat West Jacksonport 14-1. Trevor Reinhardt had four hits, Jack Peterson & Austin Rohe had 3, & Rohe drove in four runs. Winning pitcher Jake Schneider struck out 11,
Washington Island beat Baileys Harbor 13-3. Caleb Cornell had 4 hits, Ray McDonald hit s 2-run homerun as part of a 2-hit game, Ben Geiger also had a pair of hits for the Islanders. Bennet Isaacson-Krueger earned the win. Losing pitcher Elvis Torres hit a two run homerun for the A’s & Matt Fransisconi had two hits.
On Friday night Egg Harbor pounded Institute 17-4. Anthony Jennerjohn had 3-hits & 2-RBI, Drew Price, Eric Dejardine, Nick Kita, & Corey Fuller all had 2-hits each in the win.
