Community Invited to Read Door County Stewardship Plan

Community Invited to Read Door County Stewardship Plan

In late April, Destination Door County held a public presentation at the Kress Pavilion where they unveiled Door County’s new Destination Stewardship Plan. The purpose of the community based plan is to identify issues and opportunities to enhance the quality of life for those who call Door County home, as well as its visitors. Chief Communications Officer Jon Jarosh shares details of the plan’s creation and its four strategic goals…

As for those 4 strategic goals, the plan actually goes into much detail for each one, keeping the whole community as its main concern looking towards the future. As Jarosh says, it’s about much more than tourism…

Since there are numerous issues addressed in this plan, Jarosh recommends community members to read one or both of the plan versions available on the Destination Door County Website…

Through that sign-up button, you can volunteer to be part of one of the groups addressing those strategic goals. The plan’s implementation process will take multiple individuals, groups, and organizations, including Destination Door County. Again, you will find Door County’s new Destination Stewardship Plan online at doorcounty.com/stewardship.
