Sevastopol Selects Anderson as New Superintendent

The Sevastopol School Board announced Wednesday that Randi Anderson was selected to be the next Superintendent of the school district. It was a unanimous vote at Tuesday night’s special meeting of the school board, and pending finalization of contract details, Ms. Anderson will fill that position starting July 1st.
School Board President Lisa Bieri says Ms. Anderson brings the experience needed as an educator and leader to help transition the very good school district to a great one. She brings expertise in strategic planning, curriculum development, long-range facility planning, and personalized learning to ensure all students graduate college-, career-, and community-ready.
The school board’s final decision followed two rounds of interviews by the board itself, an interview with a stakeholder team of students, staff, administrators, parents, and community members, along with comprehensive background and reference checks.
The Sevastopol School Board is now planning a community meet and greet opportunity with Ms. Anderson, the date of that event to be announced early next month.
