United Way to Hold Childcare Info Session


The United Way of Door County is holding an informational session for anyone interested in becoming a home based child care provider, Tuesday, January 30th at 6:30pm at Crossroads at Big Creek. Molly Gary, the Childcare Community Coordinator for the United Way of Door County says families are not only struggling to find childcare, but also finding a way to pay for it…


There has been some change recently with the expansion of the DOCO Child Development Center, and another facility called Children First is expected to open in June, expanded the number of childcare slots locally. Gary says her focus right now is recruiting more home based providers…

Gary says anyone interested in becoming a home based child care provider is welcome at the information session Tuesday at Crossroads…
