Oconomowoc-based manufacturer Bruno Independent Living Aids has acquired Terry Lifts, a manufacturer of home elevators and platform lifts that’s based in Knutsford, England, in the United Kingdom.
Bruno Independent Living Aids makes products – including stairlifts and vertical platform lifts – designed to make a home or apartment more accessible.
The acquisition of Terry Lifts expands the company’s reach into new geographic regions while also adding complementary product categories, according to an announcement from Bruno Independent Living Aids. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This purchase of Terry Lifts marks an exciting milestone in our growth strategy,” said Mike Bruno, president and CEO of Bruno Independent Living Aids. “By combining Bruno’s resources and expertise with Terry Lift’s innovative products and strong regional presence, we can deliver even greater value and service to our customers around the world.”
Following the acquisition, the combined organization will focus on accelerating the development of new solutions and bolstering customer support in key markets.
