Children’s Wisconsin names new president and COO

Jonathan Brouk

Jonathan Brouk has been named the new president and chief operating officer for Wauwatosa-based pediatric health care system Children’s Wisconsin.

He will be responsible for the overall performance of the organization’s hospitals in Milwaukee and Neenah.

“I’m honored to join Children’s Wisconsin and serve an organization with a reputation as one the country’s best pediatric health systems,” said Brouk. “I look forward to partnering with our teams and the families and communities we serve to build upon the incredible work that’s already underway.”

Prior to Children’s Wisconsin, Brouk served as president of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health, an academic children’s hospital and health care network in Louisiana.

“Jonathan has a passion for advancing children’s health and well-being and brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to streamlining operations through performance excellence and team development,” said Gil Peri, Children’s Wisconsin president and CEO. “He is a growth-oriented, strengths-based leader who will be a strong fit with our organization’s culture. Jonathan’s leadership experience will add tremendous value to the children in Wisconsin and beyond. We are thrilled to have him on board.”

Brouk earned his bachelor’s degree at Tulane University in 2007, and a law degree from Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago in 2011.
