Waukesha-based robotic systems integrator Acieta has announced the appointment of Corwin Carson as chief executive officer.

Carson succeeds Craig Ulrich, who was named CEO of Acieta in January 2025, and remains with the company as chairman of the board.

Carson has been a part of Acieta’s board of directors since 2023 and has served as chief commercial officer since 2024.

His past roles include CEO of United Robotics Group Americas, president of QComp Technologies and vice president at JR Automation.

Acieta, owned by Los Angeles-based private investment firm Angeles Equity Partners, has six facilities throughout the United States and Mexico, along with its Waukesha headquarters. The company is an automation systems integrator serving several commercial and industrial end markets.

“I am excited and honored to lead the dedicated and talented Acieta team into the next chapter of growth, as we seek to achieve our full potential,” said Carson. “Acieta has the structure, discipline, and platform scale needed to support customers well beyond system installation – from design and build to lifecycle support. My focus is now on leveraging that scale to ensure we evolve alongside our customers as their complex production demands change. I see continued significant growth potential, further fueled by the reshoring of manufacturing in North America.”

Under Angeles Equity Partners’ ownership, the Acieta platform has more than doubled in size while expanding service capabilities and diversifying end markets and capacity.

”Under Corwin’s leadership as president and chief commercial officer, Acieta has delivered 25% year-over-year revenue growth the past two years, while integrating operations across seven North American facilities, to enable a 4X increase in average project size,” said Matt Hively, operating partner at Angeles Operations Group. “Carson has helped sharpen Acieta’s focus on platform consistency, operational discipline, and customer outcomes across industries, including automotive, consumer goods, and industrial manufacturing. I am confident Corwin will further accelerate the growth of the business and deepen relationships with Acieta’s customers and partners.”
