A Dunkin’ donuts store location is planned for a former Starbucks site at 151 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, according to a conditional use permit application filed with the city’s Plan Commission. Starbucks closed the location in 2025, along with other Wisconsin sites, as part of the company’s global reduction of stores.
Dunkin is now proposing to occupy the 2,400-square-foot building on-site, which will feature its typical menu and a drive-thru.
The proposed hours of operation are between 4 a.m. and 10 p.m., seven days a week. The location would hire 15 employees with four to five employees on-site during peak hours and two to three employees on-site during non-peak hours.
The drive-thru, traffic pattern and parking layout will remain as is.
The city’s Plan Commission will consider the proposal at its July 13 meeting.
