Dhivya Suryadevara, the president of Milwaukee-based fintech company Fiserv Inc., has resigned, according to a filing this week with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The announcement comes less than a month after the company announced that Michael Lyons was stepping down as CEO of Fiserv to take the top job at Charlotte-based Truist Financial Corp. and that Takis Georgakopoulos was named the company’s new CEO.

Suryadevara and Georgakopoulos were named co-presidents of Fiserv in late October.

Previously, Suryadevara served as chief executive officer of Optum Financial Services and Optum Insight at Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based UnitedHealth Group Inc. Georgakopoulos had served as chief operating officer of Fiserv since April of 2025.

In its filing with the SEC, Fiserv said that Suryadevara resigned for “good reason” under the terms of her Aug. 28, 2025 offer letter from the company.

Her resignation was effective as of Monday. She will remain a non-executive officer employee eligible for her current base salary and benefit plan participation through July 31. Based on a proxy statement from the company, she will be eligible for a total payout of about $15.7 million.

The company also announced that Andrew Gelb, executive vice president and chief operating officer, financial solutions, and Srini Krish, head of technology and operations, financial solutions, were appointed as interim leaders of the company’s Financial Solutions business, effective immediately.
