An affiliate for Florida-based car rental company Hertz has sold its facility near Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport for $4.5 million, according to state records.
Hertz is one of the largest worldwide vehicle rental companies with operations in 160 countries.
Located at 501 W. Edgerton Ave., the company’s facility near the Milwaukee airport was sold to an affiliate of Annapolis, Maryland-based Realterm, a private equity firm focused on investments in real estate assets for the transportation industry. The firm has more than $14 billion in assets under management across more than 500 investments.
The Hertz property near Mitchell International Airport has an assessed value of about $3 million, according to city records.
In 2025, Hertz had a total of $18.8 million in rental car receipts at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, ranking third behind Enterprise at $43.6 million and Avis at $27.6 million, according to the airport.
