Waukesha Foundry announced today that president Steve Cooke will leave the company. Jake Walczak, who currently serves as director of operations, has been promoted to president.

Cooke has served as president of Waukesha Foundry since 2022.

“It has been a privilege to lead Waukesha Foundry and work alongside such a talented and dedicated team,” said Cooke. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and confident that Jake’s deep understanding of the business, commitment to our employees and customers, and proven leadership will position Waukesha Foundry for continued success.”

Walczak has more than 12 years of experience at Waukesha Foundry. He joined the company in 2014 as an x-ray technician and advanced through a variety of quality and operational leadership roles before being named director of operations in early 2021.

“Waukesha Foundry has been an important part of my professional journey, and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead this organization,” said Walczak. “Our success is built on the knowledge and dedication of our employees, the trust of our customers, and a shared commitment to quality and continuous improvement. I look forward to building on that solid foundation while continuing to strengthen our operations, support our customers, and position Waukesha Foundry for long-term growth.”
